August 2020: AMDS Consultants Ltd. Completes their first remote audit using ISO19011 guidance.

When one of our clients asked us to review their compliance against the PCI DSS standard, the first challenge in 2020 was how? given the COVID-19 pandemic.

We had undertaken the initial implementation project in 2018 and were very familiar with the structures, systems and processes underpinning compliance to the standard.

Clearly, however, the traditional approach of deploying to the client’s offices conducting face-to-face interviews and a site tour were not going to be practical. Consequently, utilising our experience we applied the principles of ISO19011 in a remote working environment successfully concluding the review and assuring the client of their continued compliance.
